one more final to go. the 7.40 plant biology test i just took was interesting. i hope my lab grade is high enough to keep my b.

i contracted for 12 honors hours this semester, and it looks like i will only be receiving six. sadness. good thing i am determined to be better with time and allotment of work next semester.

poor errol is so stressed about his three exams today. i wish i could do something. school really is the embodiment of satan (for those who believe).

eng 312 is done. amen. although my hand is suffering from the longest final in the world, i am so happy to be through with social linguistics. i never want to see the words american standard english together again.

will be on a plane a week from today. yay! i cannot wait until wednesday night. the feeling of relief will be overwhelmingly wonderful. though pretty terrified about my linguistics final on monday that will be accompanied with my paper grade. eek.

jesus christ superstar has been at gammage since tuesday, and it’s been a good time. it reminds me of kate and my reenactments and recastings: “everything’s alright. yes, everything’s fine…” ah, christmas will be so fun!

errol and i enjoyed closer last night. i highly recommend it to people who don’t mind a little saucy language and unhappy endings. hmm. not really an unhappy ending–just the general feeling of unhappiness with humans.

i just bought a baby christmas tree. la! la! la! i’m so excited. i love this time of year so much. i think i would be totally content with listening to carols all day. if anyone is looking for a gift idea for me, i want ornaments for my beautiful new tree.

the past couple days i’ve been thinking a lot about my life after university and what i’ll be doing with it. i’ve come to realize that thinking about the far-future is not the best use of time when one really needs to be thinking of the near-future–books to read, papers to write, tests to take. so until the evening of 15 december, i will be taking life day by day. i’ve never been too good at living in the present; this ought to be interesting.
