We all feel very lucky to live somewhere that has so many opportunities available. Today’s exciting event in Princeton was Cotsen Children’s Library Princyclopedia. This year’s theme was Treasure Island. As such, Dillon Gym sported a full-fledged pirate theme. They brought in a pirate ship bounce house, and Thom really enjoyed listening to the Princeton Tigerlilies, dressed as mermaids, of course, sing their songs of the siren. Can’t wait for next year’s Princyclopedia!

Thomsen plays hockey constantly and especially enjoys it when I comply with his request to play his “pump up music” while he skates, scores goals, makes saves, and falls dramatically on the ice.

I finished Little Bee on the plane ride back from Phoenix last Thursday and was lucky enough to hear the author speak and read the next day. Chris Cleave was adorably British, and I enjoyed my evening alone on the town. Nothing like a date at Princeton Public Library!
